中国现存最完整的唐朝木构建筑,全部集中在山西。中国木构建筑文化中灿烂辉煌的篇章——“唐风”建筑在山西完整地保存着。采用钢结构单元体,汲取唐朝宫殿斗拱及飞檐的形象特征——通过现代结构表达,使人感受到中国传统空间的华丽与典雅,太原南站巧妙体现了太原“唐风晋韵”的地域文化特色。
The most complete wooden structure buildings of the Tang Dynasty in China are concentrated in Shanxi Province. ‘Tang style’ buildings, the glorious and resplendent works in Chinese wooden building culture, are completely preserved in Shanxi Province. They use the steel structure module and draw the image features of Tang palace’s brackets and cornices, which are expressed by modern structure, so that people will feel China traditional gorgeous and elegant space. Taiyuan South Railway Station ingeniously reflects the geographical and cultural characteristics of ‘Tang Style and Shanxi Charm’ in Shanxi Province.
站房立面上的仿青砖玻璃石材双层组合幕墙,使人们联想到山西传统民居中的建筑细节,亲切而自然,体现了晋韵之美。独特的双层石材幕墙构造,在保证墙面厚重感的前提下,巧妙的解决了建筑采光与遮阳的问题;同时,相互交错的玻璃、石材组合墙面为进站、候车、休息等空间带来了美轮美奂的光影效果。
The double-layer curtain walls of glass-stone material on the façade of the station imitate the bricks and can make people think of architectural details of traditional houses in Shanxi Province, they are kind and natural, and embody the beauty of Shanxi charm. Its unique double-layer stone curtain wall structure not only ensures the heavy feeling of the walls, but also cleverly solves the problem between lighting and shading of the building; at the same time, the interlaced glass-stone wall surface brings a magnificent lighting effect for the spaces such as: coming, waiting and resting, etc.

太原南站主体采用独特的单元体结构,在使用功能与经济性上也取得了平衡,达到“实用、经济、美观”的效果。单元体的大部分结构构件可预先加工,现场安装,方便施工,提高施工效率,缩短建设工期。
The main body of Taiyuan South Railway Station uses unique module structure, to balance the use function and economy, so as to achieve the effect of ‘practical, economic and beautiful.’ Most of structural elements of the module can be pre-processed and installed on site, which is convenient for construction, improves construction efficiency and shortens the construction period.
设计综合运用建筑体量自遮阳、可调节自然采光、热压自然通风等被动式节能措施,同时也采用了地源热泵、太阳能光伏发电系统等清洁能源技术。绿色和艺术的结合使得太原南站这座全新的交通枢纽成为一个绿色的生态型客站。
The design comprehensively uses passive energy-saving measures such as: building self sun-shading, adjustable natural lighting and thermal natural ventilation, etc, at the same time, it also uses clean energy technologies such as: ground source heat pump and solar photovoltaic power generation system, etc. The combination of green and art makes the new transportation hub Taiyuan South Railway Station become a green ecological railway station.
