香港交易所全资附属公司香港联合交易所有限公司昨天（星期二）与沪深交易所就港股通合资格证券的调整安排进行了卓有成效的会谈，并在以下三方面达成了共识:
1. 互联互通的进一步优化和完善是双方共同认可和努力的大方向，会继续健康稳定地发展。
2. 会议认为内地投资者对不同投票权架构（WVR）公司还缺乏了解，WVR公司纳入港股通合资格证券需要充分考虑两地市场的发展水准和监管实践。因此，三所将在沪深港通合资格证券现有纳入制度基础上加入一个稳定交易期机制。
3. 三所已商定成立联合工作组，将尽快研究WVR公司纳入港股通合资格证券的新补充机制具体方案和细则。

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, awholly-owned subsidiary of HKEX, reached a consensus yesterday (Tuesday) withthe Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges on adjusting the inclusionarrangements for eligible securities for Stock Connect’s Southbound trading.This followed a productive meeting of the three exchanges.
The agreement is comprised of threepoints:
1. Thethree exchanges share the objective of enhancing and improving Stock Connect,with the intention to continue to grow and develop the scheme in a stablemanner over time.
2. Themeeting acknowledged that as Mainland investors are not yet familiar withweighted voting rights (WVR) companies, there is a need to consider thematurity and regulatory practices of the two markets when including WVRcompanies in the list of eligible securities for Southbound trading under StockConnect. An initial Special Stability Trading Period (SSTP) will be requiredfor Hong Kong-listed WVR companies, following which the WVR shares will beincluded in Southbound trading under Stock Connect if such shares are otherwiseeligible for inclusion under the current Stock Connect rules.
3. Thethree exchanges have agreed to set up a joint working group to formulate thespecific programmes and supplementary rules for the inclusion of WVR companiesin Stock Connect trading as soon as possible.（完）
