西门子与苏州大学建立数据科学实验室
Siemens and Soochow University co-founded Data Science Lab
2018全球人工智能产品应用博览会日前在苏州举行，西门子参加博览会并与生态合作伙伴分享了在工业人工智能领域的发展与探索。
The 2018 Global Artificial Intelligence (AI) Product Application Expo was held in Suzhou recently. Siemens participated and shared its development and outlook of industrial artificial intelligence with its partners in the ecosystem.
博览会开幕当天，西门子与苏州大学达成合作协议，建立苏州大学——西门子数据科学实验室。
Opening day of the Expo, Siemens and Soochow University reached a strategic agreement to establish the Soochow University - Siemens Data Science Lab.
双方将有效利用西门子数字化领域的技术优势，进一步推动以“数字化与数据科学”为核心的科研合作，进行包括工业大数据分析、人工智能和工业信息安全等领域的研究。
Both parties will utilize Siemens' technological advantages in the automation to conduct core technology research with "digitalization and data science" as its essentials. The research also covers data analytics, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
西门子还将实验室作为综合性开放创新平台，持续打造及优化本地创新生态系统。
Siemens makes the lab a comprehensive open innovation platform and continues forming and optimizing the local innovation ecosystem.
西门子（中国）有限公司执行副总裁、西门子中国研究院院长朱骁洵表示，“苏州大学与西门子有着紧密的合作伙伴关系，实验室的建立将整合资源服务于科研，加强在人工智能领域人才的交流与合作。”
"Soochow University and Siemens had a close partnership. The lab will integrate resources to serve scientific researches and strengthen the cooperation and exchange of talents in the artificial intelligence field." Zhu Xiaoxun, Executive Vice President of Siemens Ltd., China and Head of Siemens Corporate Technology China said.

Marvel launches the first Chinese superheroes
据英国广播公司近日报道，中国超级英雄首次正式进入漫威宇宙。
According to BBC， the first ever Chinese superheroes have officially entered the Marvel universe.
这些超级英雄由漫威联手中国最大在线漫画平台之一网易推出，此举是为了让漫威在利润丰厚的中国市场吸引更多粉丝。
Co-authored by Marvel and NetEase, one of China's biggest online comic platforms, they are a clear push by Marvel to attract more fans across the lucrative Chinese market.
去年，漫威首次宣布与网易合作，创作首批漫威中国超级英雄。
Marvel first announced last year that it would be working with NetEase - one ofChina's biggest gaming and tech companies - to create its first ever Chinese superheroes.
漫威漫画主编司马博此前接受法新社采访时表示，这些超级英雄将“具有浓重的中国文化和神话色彩，但故事背景设定在现代世界”。
Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief CB Cebulski had then said to AFP that the superheroes would be "heavily based on Chinese culture and mythology, but set in the modern world".

But it isn't just the superheroes that are Chinese. Artists and story writers from China were also heavily involved in bringing the creation to life.

来自中国的十名青少年足球运动员代表中国参加5月13日在慕尼黑安联球场举行的拜仁青年杯全球总决赛，与来自其他六个国家的青少年球员进行比赛与交流。
Ten of the Chinese young football players represented China against six other countries at the world finals of the FC Bayern Youth Cup, which held on May 13 at Munich’s Allianz Stadium.

According to the Daily Mail, Haseltine Lake, the London-based trademark attorney, who has uncovered futuristic pet-related patents ranging from the clever to the bizarre.

Among its finds is a "pet sunglasses system" to provide shade to dogs and "small animals".

The patent, was filed in 1998 by Yolanda Ramirez of North Carolina, and describes a pair of sunglasses with a flexible strap to fit on animals.
