Mondelēz Opens Newest R&D Hub in Suzhou

亿滋中国为重新扩建升级的苏州全球研发中心举行启动庆典。该研发中心将以一流的技术和设备投入使用,支持公司旗下的饼干品类的创新研发,其中包括中国市场已有的消费者所熟知的品牌。

Mondelēz International recently inaugurated its newest global Technical Center in Suzhou, China. This state-of-the-art facility will support new products and technologies for many of the company’s iconic Power Brands.

此前,亿滋国际宣布了在全球共投资6500万美元,打造九个全球大型研发中心。位于中国苏州的亿滋饼干研发中心正是这一全球研发网络的重要一员。

The Suzhou RDQI Technical Center is part of the company’s previously announced $65 million investment in nine large R&D hubs, strategically positioned around the globe.

这些研发中心在助力加速公司业绩增长和创新的同时,还将为亿滋国际招揽并培养更多研发人才。

These centers will enable Mondelēz International to better recruit, retain and develop talent across a range of science and technical disciplines while accelerating the company’s growth and innovation.

苏州全球研发中心聚集了100多位工作人员,其中包括食品研发测试领域的工程师、营养专家、食品包装研发人员,以及消费者洞察领域的专家。

The Suzhou RDQI Technical Center will be home to more than 100 experts – scientists, engineers and other specialists from all over the world.

升级后的研发中心拥有2,700平米的试验工厂与实验室,以及1,580平米的办公区域,并将和全球各地的生产网络紧密合作,推动生产创新。

The site is equipped with 2,700 square meters of pilot plant and labs, and 1,580 square meters of offices. This Technical Center will closely collaborate on innovations in our manufacturing network across the world.

五名中国学生赴美太空火箭中心参加领导力挑战项目

Five Chinese students participated in the Leadership Challenge at US Space Center

来自35个国家和地区的325名学生近日在阿拉巴马州亨茨维尔的美国太空及火箭中心顺利完成一年一度的霍尼韦尔领导力挑战学院项目。

Recently, 325 students from 35 countries and regions attended the annual Honeywell Leadership Challenge Academy (HLCA) at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center (USSRC) in Huntsville, Ala.

学生们通过解决现实世界中的各项科学、技术、工程和数学(STEM)难题来打造自身的领导力技能。

This program gives students the opportunity to build leadership skills by tackling real-world challenges in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

世界经济论坛预测,现今65%的小学生未来将从事当下还不存在的高新技术工作。霍尼韦尔的目的是激发年轻人的兴趣并为他们面对未来快速变化的职场环境做好准备。

The World Economic Forum projects 65 percent of students entering primary school today will ultimately work in new technologically advanced job types that don’t yet exist. Honeywell’s goal is to inspire and prepare young people for the rapidly changing jobs of tomorrow.

五名中国学生参与了这一项目。16-18岁的学生在为期两周的项目中参与各种团队活动,例如搭建、编码和测试火箭,模拟宇航员训练、航天飞行任务和太空行走等等,所有这些活动都是为了强化学生在快速变化和互联世界中的STEM教育。

Five Chinese students participated in this year's program. At the Academy, students between the ages of 16-18 participate in hands-on, team-based activities such as building, coding and testing rockets, simulated astronaut training, shuttle missions and a moonwalk, all designed to emphasize STEM education in an ever-changing, connected world.

2010年,霍尼韦尔领导力挑战学院项目由霍尼韦尔和美国太空及火箭中心携手发起,至今已为超过2091名学生提供了奖学金,这些学生都是霍尼韦尔员工的子女。

Since its launch in 2010, Honeywell, in partnership with the USSRC, has awarded 2,091 scholarships to students of Honeywell employees to attend the Academy.

Etihad Airways Celebrates Ten Years of Operations in China

阿提哈德航空近日庆祝在中国市场成功运营十周年。2008年阿布扎比至北京航线的开通,拉开了阿提哈德航空进驻中国的序幕,随后阿提哈德相继在2011、2012年和2015年开通了成都、上海和香港航点。

Etihad Airways celebrates the 10th anniversary of the airlines’ operations in the China market after it launched an Abu Dhabi to Beijing service in 2008, followed by Chengdu* in 2011, Shanghai in 2012 and Hong Kong in 2015.

目前,阿提哈德航空每周运营28班次往返中国,运载了近400万旅客经由阿布扎比枢纽前往海湾地区、中东、欧洲、非洲和北美的40余个商务和休闲目的地。

To-date, nearly four million travelers have flown the routes which Etihad Airways operates to and from China. There are currently 28 flights per week with easy connectivity via Etihad’s Abu Dhabi hub to more than 40 business and leisure destinations across the Middle East, Europe, Africa and North America.

Through the effective integration of cargo capacity on freighters and aboard passenger aircraft, Etihad Airways has carried over 400,000 tons of cargo between China and the UAE in the past ten years.

Stephan Schaller takes over as head of the Voith Group

自4月1日起,斯蒂芬·夏勒出任福伊特集团总裁兼首席执行官,开始执掌这家全球性高科技集团。

From April 1, 2018, Stephan Schaller has begun in his role as head of the Corporate Board of Management at Voith GmbH & Co. KGaA and will lead the international technology company from now on.

斯蒂芬·夏勒为赫伯特·林哈德博士的继任者。后者担任总裁兼首席执行官一职多年,任期结束后按照计划退休,时年67岁。斯蒂芬·夏勒自2015年起担任福伊特集团股东委员会成员。

He succeeds the long-serving head of the Board, Dr. Hubert Lienhard, who, at the age of 67, is retiring as planned. Schaller has supported Voith since 2015 as a member of Voith’s Shareholders’ Committee.

Stephan Schaller has many years of international experience in various sectors and industries outside Voith. In the course of his career he has been employed in multiple management and leadership positions at Linde, Schott and Volkswagen.

在加入福伊特前,毕业于机械工程专业的斯蒂芬·夏勒曾负责宝马集团全球摩托车事业部。

Schaller, who studied mechanical engineering, was previously responsible for the motorcycle division of the BMW Group before he joined Voith.
